starting school again on tuesday, this time in a new country, speaking a new (not really) language... all a little strange, having a minor anxiety attack.
But in lighter news, Pucci, Gucci and Bottega, amongst other many Italian brands, show their FW'10 lines and are now up on style.com. Read on fashionista.com that all these Anna Wintour impostors were protesting at the Gucci show because Wintour didn't want to stay in Milan for more than 3 days for fashion week. Thought the picture was pretty funny though...
I like how they took it as far as making silk screened t-shirts
Onto the good stuff...
GUCCI
Natasha Poly's jacket... definitely my favorite look from this collection.
The suiting is amazing, I love the neutral palette paired with the cool colors.
Thigh high boots everywhere... amazing!
The stockings are also really nice, it looks like a python print but a little more geometric, regardless- close enough to the animal, I LIKE!
PUCCI
Amazing to see Pucci grow from a line with the funky patterned caftans into what it has become now. Although I must admit I think Duras is just riding the wave of the body-con mini dresses a little too long, and is just replicating what sold last season, but I will get it from where I can... this stuff is still great.
... and helloooo python trench!
sexy back (played out catch phrase, I know, I'm sorry)
A little reminiscent of Givenchy last spring, but again, I will take it from where I can get it.
BOTTEGA
Wasn't one of my favorite collections, but I can definitely appreciate it for its detailing, and um, top-to-bottom leather ensembles.
I love the boobie harness... haha
mif mif: i agree with the pucci post, is so amazing all those cutouts, is so sexy.i esp love the second pic far right.with all the big deep v in front and gold embroidery on top of the lacy lacy. gucci shouts long, lean, glam and sexy lady.
