tough wedge

Alain Quilici's Fall 2010 shoes... was brought to my attention yesterday by Geoff. They remind me of Christopher Kane's booties from a few seasons ago. Inspired by the 80's sci-fi flick, Dune, these sculptural booties say 'I am a badass' in a much more elegant way.

Must admit I didn't recognize his name at first, but further googling leads me to believe that he's the creator of these bad boys (below, far right). Definitely remember seeing them on luisaviaroma a few times last season...
