stilts. not shoes

tried on the SS'10 Versace shoes at Joyce this weekend. I consider myself a decent walker and wearer of high shoes... I consider any shoe heel below 4 inches as 'low', and anything with a 2 inch platform I call 'comfortable'. But these...

... are ridiculous. They were some serious stilts. It was quite heart breaking; but I can't decide if it was because I couldn't really walk in these without looking like one leg was longer than the other, or because of its 5-digit price tag.
