thus begins PARIS!!!

The week begins... I've been eagerly anticipating these pictures on style.com for quite some time, and the time has come!!!

DRIES... tailored jackets and trenches, who needs a boyfriend when you can have a boyfriend jacket look this good? No heartache, just pure bliss. Throw in a pair of this season's sunglasses and I'm ready to convert and move into a nunnery... except the idea of wearing these beautiful clothes underneath a black cloak and headdress is a little depressing.

And the dark designs of Gareth Pugh... I have a hard time telling his and the designs of Rick Owens apart sometimes, but this collection with the black and the olive green (my new black pretty much) is amazing. Slim cut sleek leather jackets, chainmail gowns, the olive green drape-y cardigans, to the black bell-bottoms (emerging comeback, possibly?)... Gareth Pugh, you rock my world.

I've been slacking on the Tommy pictures, but the Paris ones he's posted on style.com have all been amazing!!! Seeing Miu Miu SS'10 platforms everywhere (yesssss...), as well as all the Celine goodness that I wish I had in my closet. Pretty unhealthy obsession, but it's just too much of a good thing.

although I am a huge ragging fan of Celine since Phoebe Philo hopped on board, I am a little confused as to why this bag costs so much, especially when I feel like I've seen replicas of it in just about every vintage store. But the jacket and leather skirt situation going on is... NIIIICE I LIKE.
