FAVORITE COLLECTION OF NEW YORK FW'10 THUS FAR...
ALTUZARRA
A collection of red and black, in leather, fur and velvet, with lace up detailing, structured tailoring and sexy up-to-there slits. All in all, a drool-worthy collection.
Some (many) of my favorite looks,
FIRST LOOK, my favorite. Structured jacket slightly hidden underneath a whole-lotta black fur, with a tight skirt and lace up boots- what more could a girl want?
I probably only like this look because it's almost identical to the first one. But who said too much of something was ever a bad thing?
Catwoman is going to have to fight me for her costume. Seriously, big showdown. I'd feel like a sausage wrapped in this leather jumpsuit, but I'd be a very happy sausage.
The classic hourglass silhouette is revisited with a dominatrix twist.
(PS. Am starting to really feel the shoes...)
Am curious to see what the detailing on the pants are, they look like straps (I like!!!).
The Statement Fur Coat... I can never quite get enough
I'm in love...
Now that I've started with the best... here are some other honorable mentions
Ohne Titel's sleek jackets and cool pants:

Alexander Wang's collection was also posted this afternoon on style.com, but as usual, it's not a collection that I get excited and LOVE immediately- it takes time to get used to. But all in all, I'm not a huge fan of this collection. I can't even begin to comment on the shoes. If there's one thing I'm going to take away from this is definitely THE VELOUR SUNGLASSES. I can imagine them getting smelly from sweaty Hong Kong summers, or getting dirty from make up, but all in the name of fashion...

I read on a blog a couple days ago that Wall Street was Wang's inspiration for the FW'10 collection, but as much of a sucker I am for some sick suiting, this failed to tickle my fancy.
At any rate, here are some of my top choices from the collection

I can't help but be reminded of Japanese school girls when i see these long legwarmer/socks/boots (I'm a little confused on where they cut off...)

I like the tuxedo-vest midsection of the pants(?) or is it the top... I am taking a guess.

I don't know how Wall Street this last look is, but it's undeniably a pretty frock.
